While browsing a recent connection’s blog I discovered Visual.ly. Visual.ly allows you to easily create simple infographics from info and trends that it pulls from your own Twitter or Facebook accounts. As you can see below, the site pulled items such as number of followers, follow-back ratio and frequently used tags from my profile. I suggest giving it a go and see what you learn about your social media habits. Enjoy!
“I rambled all the time. I was just like that, like a rollin’ stone.” –Muddy Waters
Nearly a month ago I had the opportunity to travel with the Sixers on a 3-game road swing that made stops in Minneapolis, Memphis and Houston. While in Memphis, I took advantage of a little early morning down-time to walk the famous Beale St. (Above are the photos a captured).
It was incredible to walk down the Home of the Blues and to think that the likes of Muddy Waters, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong, Robert Johnson and so many more legendary bluesmen once stood in the same places I was standing. If you have a love for the Delta Blues then I would recommend making a stop.
You more than likely have seen Heineken’s catchy, cool-cat commercials airing over the last year or so. Most recently the Dutch brewer has launched a social Serenade campaign that is exclusively available to their Facebook fans for a limited time. The Serenade application lives within a tab on Heineken’s Facebook fan page and allows fans to customize and send humorous serenades to their Facebook friends. Simple sharing allows social serenades to spread virally across the social web. It’s definitely worth giving their Facebook page a “LIKE” to check out this unique campaign.
